HP Notification for TET 2024: On its official website, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the Teacher Eligibility Test (HTPTET) November 2024 notification for TGT, TET, and Various. The following positions, Junior Basic Training (JBT), Language Teacher, Punjabi Language Teacher, Urdu Language Teacher, TET Shastri, and others, are open to candidates with specific educational backgrounds.
On or before October 18, 2024, interested and qualified people may apply online for these positions. The organization will administer a written test on November 15, 17, 24 and 26, 2024.

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted for teaching subjects / categories as directed in the notification. You can check the post/subject wise details given below-

HP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
TGT(Arts): B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and 1-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)
OR
B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and 2-years Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed. OR e. B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education)
OR
B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institution. OR
4 years’ degree of B.A/B.Com. Ed. From any national council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
OR
Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year
integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.

Exam Pattern
Candidates will be chosen depending on how well they perform in the written exam that is set for November 2024. There will be a single question paper with four distinct series of multiple choice and objective type questions. Each series will contain 150 questions worth one mark, and all questions must be answered in 150 minutes. It is important for candidates to know that the written exam will not have any negative marks. The question booklet will be available in both Hindi and English.
