In Uttar Pradesh, preparations are being made to recruit about 19,000 Home Guard volunteers. The official notification for this recruitment can be issued soon through the department.

About UP home gaurd :

 The role of home gaurds is to serve as an auxiliary force to the police in maintenance of internal security situations, help the community in the situation of emergency such as air raids, earthquacks, cylones, fire, epidemic etc.

Salary and Remenruation :

At present, the Uttar Pradesh Home Guard jawan is given a salary of about Rs 500 per day. Earlier, Home Guard jawans were earlier getting salary of Rs 375 per day but it has been increased by Rs 125 to Rs 500 per day. 

Slection Rules :

In such a situation, it is being speculated that it is possible that the candidates who are selected under the new recruitment may be given the same salary by doing the posts of UP Police constable or may be given additional facilities available to the UP Police constable.

Retirement and Pension Schemes :

Information related to pension facility According to the information received from the media report, the provision of PF deduction is being made only on the basic salary of Rs 15,000. Taking cognizance of this, the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner has directed to cut the PF of the Home Guards. 

He says that government and non-government institutions come under the purview of provident fund. Home guards and their families have not got social security. Now PF deduction has become necessary.

For general catagory: 18 to 45 years of years as on 01-01-2022

Educational qualification: 

For this job you must be 10th pass that too from a recognized institution.
